How to install mods on your Unturned Server

Automatic Install

Pre-configured mods can be installed via our Mod Manager, which is available under the Tools section of your Unturned server. Simply find the mod you'd like to install, and click the install button.

Manual Install

Step 1

Go to /home/container/Servers/Default

Step 2

Go to your desired Unturned mod on the steam workshop and grab the ID in the URL

Step 3

Edit the WorkshopDownloadConfig.json file, adding the id into the file_ids

If your mod is a map please go to Servers/Default/Server/Commands.dat and add your map using map “name” case sensitive

Please Note: Mods prior to Unturned Version 3.28 are outdated and will not download.
